Still waiting for some letters to dry but this is what I'm working on today!
Ignore the tape guides and the poor quality of the photo. I had to use my phone because for some reason my card reader isn't working!
I've been slowly gathering letters to do this in the playroom because it's just so darn cute and goes with the Seuss theme so well! I pick up one or two each time I go to Michael's.
Added a bit more decor to the playroom. Finally got rid of the terrible blinds, too! Hopefully this will be a nursery someday soon, too!
I saw this at Ikea months ago and had to get it since it totally looks like One Fish, Two Fish Red Fish, Blue Fish. It's just hanging in a corner for now. I added the red and white ribbons.
Hat is from Pottery Barn Kids, I got the Cat in the Hat toy at a teacher supply store and the H is for our last name.
And finally the new curtains from Ikea! You'd be amazed how hard it is to find simple, inexpensive red curtains!
Now all we need (besides the baby, lol) is a nicer lamp!
So, I decided a long time ago that if/when we have a baby I want to do the nursery in Dr. Seuss. Right now the middle bedroom is being used as a playroom so I snuck a bit of Seuss in there:
Yesterday I was with EB at the mall and we walked by Pottery Barn Kids and their newest theme is Dr. Seuss. Which made me both happy and sad. Happy that they had it but sad I don't have a baby to use it with!
So, I bought the pillow:
I also admit to putting my name on two crib sheets (they were already sold out!) that are coming in next week. They won't have them when it's really time for me to nursery shop so I'm going to buy them and put them away until the time is right. I knew I'd be kicking myself if I didn't do it. The lady at the store said the stuff is flying off the shelves and since it's a seasonal item they won't have it for long.
